What to know about the NFT viewer?
Product(s): TAG Heuer Connected Watch Calibre E3 & E4
Phone OS: Android & iOS
Lens is the watch face that allows you to display your photos, NFTs, and images from your own library on the TAG Heuer mobile app. Supported formats are PNG, JPEG, and GIF. Your NFTs remain safe in your wallet. The NFT viewer is only available for Connected Watch Calibre E3 and E4.
1- Using Lens watch face
Lens is the watch face that allows you to display your photos, NFTs and images from your own gallery. To import a new image on your Connected Watch:
- Open the TAG Heuer app on your phone.
- Select “Lens” from the watch face gallery (click any image to open the Lens configuration menu).
- Tap the “+” button to add new images.
You can add images from three sources:
- TAG Heuer Gallery: Animated visuals provided by TAG Heuer.
- Your phone’s library: Add personal images such as pets, friends, or holidays.
- Your NFT wallet: Connect your wallet (Metamask or Ledger) to access and display your NFTs.
Note: Lens watch face supports up to 20 images. Videos or animated GIFs are not supported at this time. NFT animations are available only for NFTs imported from a wallet.
You can choose your display style:
- Floating hands: Triangle shows hours, circle shows minutes.
- Transparent hands: Traditional hands with index colors adapting to the image.
- Digits: Digital display with English date only.
Shuffle mode randomly rotates images every hour or when you tap the watch face.
2- Supported formats and NFT wallet information
TAG Heuer supports the following NFT formats:
- Static images: PNG and JPEG
- Animated images: GIF
Unsupported formats such as SVG, video, or audio will not be displayed.
Wallet Connection : To link your wallet with the TAG Heuer mobile app, you must sign a message in your wallet application (Metamask or Ledger). Only your wallet address and signature are shared — never your seed phrase or private key.
What NFT wallet information is shared with TAG Heuer?
- Proof that you own the wallet (via signature)
- Your public wallet address (to fetch and sync your NFTs)
3- Troubleshooting display issues
If your NFT does not appear in the TAG Heuer Connected app, check the following:
- Ensure the correct wallet is connected.
- Wait a few minutes; NFT synchronization may still be in progress.
- Check that your NFT is in a supported format (PNG, JPEG, GIF).
If your NFT preview is not correct:
- Verify how your NFT appears on OpenSea.
- Use the “Refresh metadata” option on OpenSea if necessary.
- Wait up to 24 hours for changes to reflect on your watch.
4- NFT Authenticity, Security, and Blockchain Support
Security: NFTs never leave your wallet when displayed on your watch. If your TAG Heuer Connected Watch is lost or stolen, your NFTs remain safe.
Authenticity is guaranteed by:
- Verified checkmark from OpenSea
- Exclusive particle animation visible only on NFTs
- Hexagonal frame design (like social media indicators)
Blockchain compatibility: Only Ethereum blockchain is supported at this time.
Smart Contracts: No smart contracts are involved. No transactions or fees are required to display NFTs via the Lens watch face.
