Will I lose my settings and my data when I upgrade my watch to Wear OS 3?
When upgrading the software on your watch to Wear OS 3, the watch will have to be reset to receive the new version of the operating system. You are able to preserve all your data stored in the apps TAG Heuer Connected (Wellness and Sports data) and TAG Heuer Golf (rounds and profile settings) if you follow the necessary steps.
However, all the options listed in the section Menu > Settings of the watch are stored locally and not in our app. These settings will have to be reset once the upgrade is completed. Examples include: watch face customization, tiles selection, and notifications management.
If you are not able to retrieve your data from the TAG Heuer apps, make sure you have logged into the right account as it can be easy to connect another account via Apple or Google Sign-in options.
