What are the differences between Wear OS 2 and Wear OS 3?

The key differences between Wear OS 2 and 3 are the following:

- The pairing process: Wear OS 3 requires the TAG Heuer Connected app while Wear OS 2 uses the Wear OS by Google app.

- User experience: Wear OS 3 delivers easier navigation and improved apps and services.

- Features: Some features, such as full shot tracking for golf, are only available on watches updated to Wear OS 3.

- Google features: Some experiences are not available on watches with Wear OS 3, including Google Assistant. Messages by Google, Google Wallet™, and Google Maps are not available for watches paired paired with iOS devices.

TAG Heuer Connected works with phones running Android 8.0+ (excluding Go edition) or iOS 15.0+ and is only compatible with Calibre E4. Supported features and apps may vary between platforms and countries with compatibility subject to change, and may be only available in certain languages. For more information please contact us here
