Is my TAG Heuer Connected resistant to water?
If you own a TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 mm, please note that “Waterproof 50 m” should be read, as more further described in the Safety Instructions of the Specific Users’ Guide – Safety & Legal Information (in particular page 3), as follows : The TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 mm is water resistant to 50m/ 5atm. This means that you may, for example, wear and use the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 mm for shallow-water activities such as swimming or in the rain. However it should not be used for activities involving submersion below shallow depth or high-velocity water such as scuba diving, waterskiing. Be sure to clean your watch with soapy water and then rinse it with fresh water, especially after it has been in salt-water. You can also clean wipe off your watch with a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth.
If you own a TAG Heuer Connected 46mm, your watch has a water resistance rating of IP67, under IEC standard 60529. It shouldn’t be used for watersports and other activities in or on water, but it’ll stand up to any small splashes - such as when you’re washing your hands.
