How can I maximize my watch battery life?

To maximize your TAG Heuer Connected battery life, please follow the advices detailed below:
  • Make sure your watch software is up-to-date. [Hyperlink to Q re. Applying watch software updates]
  • Make sure your phone software is up-to-date.
  • Make sure the Wear OS by Google™ app is up-to-date on your phone. [Hyperlink to Q re. Applying Connected app software updates]

• If the GPS function is still active in the background, it may use more battery. If you want to limit this effect, make sure apps using GPS are not running in the background of your watch.

• Make sure the brightness is not set to the maximum (5th level).

• Disabling the Wi-Fi will allow you to save more battery. Don't forget to reconnect to your Wi-Fi and to leave your watch on the charger to enable updates during nighttime.

• Disable unwanted notifications on your watch.

• Use the Gestures default settings.

• Use the Battery saver mode. Swipe down from your watchface and tap on the icon to enable the Battery Saver mode. You will need to long-press the power button and restart the watch to disable this mode.
Please note that you don't have access to your watch's features when the Battery Saver mode is enabled.

• Use the Airplane mode. Swipe down on your watchface and tap on the icon to enable the Airplane mode. You will need to swipe down on your watchface and tap on the Airplane mode icon to disable this mode.
