3. Data Read from Apple Health
The TAG Heuer Connected app may read the following profile information from Apple Health, subject to your permissions:
- Gender
- Height
- Weight
- Date of birth
The TAG Heuer Connected app does not modify this data in Apple Health.
4. Troubleshooting: Why my data are not consistent?
- The TAG Heuer mobile app must be active/in the foreground: For data transfer to occur, the TAG Heuer Connected mobile app must be open and active on your phone. If the app is closed, the transfer will cancel and restart the next time the app is actively running. Synchronization with Apple Health may take some time, depending on the amount of data to transfer.
- Apple Health data source priority: Apple Health acts as a data hub and can receive data from multiple apps. If you notice any discrepancies, please refer to Apple’s support page on prioritizing data sources and make the relevant adjustments in Apple Health’s settings.
- App-to-Health synchronization only: Data is shared with Apple Health exclusively from the TAG Heuer Connected mobile app. Data is not transmitted directly from the watch to Apple Health. To ensure your data is as up to date as possible, make sure your TAG Heuer Connected watch is properly connected to the mobile app and that all data has fully synchronized before opening Apple Health. Data must first be present in the app before it can be shared with Apple Health.
5. How to manage data sharing with Apple Health?
To enable or disable sharing information from your TAG Heuer Connected mobile app to Apple Health:
- Open the Apple Health application on your iPhone.
- Go to the Summary tab (bottom left corner).
- Tap your Profile Picture (top right corner).
- Under the "Privacy" section, select Apps and Services.
- Find and select the TAG Heuer Connected app.
- You can then toggle individual data categories on or off to control what is shared.
Once enabled, data will be shared with Apple Health from that point forward. Previous historical data will not be imported.
