What to do if the watch is not powering on, or the charger is not working?

If your TAG Heuer watch does not turn on or charge properly, follow these steps to identify and resolve the issue.
1- Check alignment on the charging dock
The first step is to ensure your watch is correctly positioned on the charging dock. On the Calibre E4 and E5, make sure the watch is aligned with the shield logo from the charging dock.
2- Check charging dock and cable
If your watch still does not power on, follow these steps to check the charger and cables:
- Unplug the cable from the charging dock, then reconnect it.
- Try charging with a different cable or using a different wall plug (avoid using a multi-usb wall plug).
- Check if the watch or charging dock is damaged.
- Check if the cable is damaged.
- Ensure the back of the watch is clean, with no oxydation on the pin.
- When the watch is on the charging dock, the shield logo should light up.
Note: If the charging dock is not working properly, please contact the nearest TAG Heuer official store to have it replaced or contact the Customer Care from the settings of your TAG Heuer mobile app.
3- Force restart the watch
If the charging dock seems to work but the watch still does not turn on, try a forced start:
- Press and hold the crown until it restarts (Up to 30 seconds).
- Place the watch on the charger for few hours, then retry the previous step.
4- Contact Customer Care
If your watch still does not power on after following all the steps above, please contact the Customer Care for assistance from the Setting of your TAG Heuer mobile app or from the website: Contact us.
