How do I connect the Wi-Fi on my watch?

This article explains how to connect your TAG Heuer Connected watch to Wi-Fi and outlines the supported networks for each connected watch.


1- Connect Wi-Fi on Calibre E5

Apple MFi (Made for iPhone) certification

Thanks to MFi certification with Apple, you benefit from automatic Wi-Fi password sharing on iOS from the watch or from the TAG Heuer Connected mobile app.

On your phone > TAG Heuer Connected > Watch Settings > Wi-Fi > Share Phone Wi-Fi Password.

  • Calibre E5 supports the following Wi-Fi standards:

    • 2.4 GHz: 802.11 b/g/n
    • 5 GHz: 802.11 a/n
  • No support for hidden networks and for the WEP protocol.

2- Connect Wi-Fi on Calibre E4

On Calibre E4, you can select the Wi-Fi network directly from the watch or from the TAG Heuer Connected mobile app:

  1. On your watch, open Settings.
  2. Go to Connectivity > Wi-Fi.
  3. Select your Wi-Fi network.
  4. Enter the password either on the watch keyboard or from the TAG Heuer mobile app.

3- Connect Wi-Fi on Calibre E1 to E3

Follow these steps to connect your Calibre E3, E2, or E1 to Wi-Fi:

  1. Press the power button or swipe down to go to Settings.
  2. Tap Connectivity.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi.
  4. Tap Add network.
  5. Select the Wi-Fi network you would like to connect to.
  6. The watch will prompt you to enter the password on the Wear OS™ app on your phone.
  7. Tap Enter on the phone.

4- Networks not supported

Your TAG Heuer Connected watch cannot connect to:

  • Wi-Fi networks that take you to a login or registration page before connection (for example, hotel, airport, or coffee shop captive portals).
  • 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks on Calibre E1 to E3 models (verify with your internet service provider the compatibility of your internet box).

 

Customer Care: If you fail to connect to a Wi-Fi network, please contact the Customer Care from your TAG Heuer mobile app so it automatically populates data such as the watch model and versions.
