How-to pair a TAG Heuer Connected watch to a phone?
The TAG Heuer Connected collection has evolved through multiple generations, each with its own pairing requirements and dedicated mobile applications. This article explains how to correctly pair your TAG Heuer Connected watch according to its Calibre generation. Using the correct app ensures optimal performance, seamless connectivity, and access to all TAG Heuer Connected features.
Calibre E5
The Calibre E5 released in 2025, connects exclusively through the TAG Heuer Connected app. With its proprietary TAG Heuer OS, this generation offers improved performance, an enhanced user interface, and direct access to the latest TAG Heuer digital features. Thanks to the Made for iPhone certification from Apple, pairing and synchronization are even more seamless on iOS devices.
Calibre E4
The Calibre E4, released in 2022, requires only the E3/E4 TAG Heuer Connected app. This app manages the full pairing process as well as personalization, fitness tracking, and health monitoring features. The Wear OS app is not needed for this generation.
Calibre E3
The Calibre E3 (ex-Connected 2020) requires both the Wear OS app and the E3/E4 TAG Heuer Connected app. These two applications work together to ensure connectivity and access to TAG Heuer’s fitness tracking and customization options.
Calibre E2
The Calibre E2 (ex-Modular, 2017) requires two applications: the Wear OS app and the Connected Modular app. The Wear OS app handles the connection process, while the Connected Modular app gives access to TAG Heuer exclusive features such as watch face customization and performance tracking.
Calibre E1
The Calibre E1 (ex-Connected 46, 2015) pairs exclusively through the Wear OS by Google app. Before starting, ensure that your phone is compatible with Wear OS and that Bluetooth is enabled. Once installed, follow the on-screen instructions in the app to connect your watch.
