Connected Watch Trade-In Program – Frequently Asked Questions

The Trade-In program enables you to return your previous generation Connected Watch and receive a credit that can be applied toward the purchase of the latest model if you choose to upgrade.

1. Is the Trade-In program available in my country?

The Connected Watch Trade-In program is not available in all countries and stores. Please refer to our store locator to find the list of selected TAG Heuer stores where the Connected Watch Trade-In is available.

 

2. What watches are eligible for the Trade-In program?

Only the following Connected Watch models are eligible for the Trade-In program:

  • Calibre E1 / Connected 46mm (Ref. SAR8A80)
  • Calibre E2 45mm and 41mm (Ref. SBF8)
  • Calibre E3 / Connected Watch 2020 (Ref. SBG8A)
  • Calibre E4 42mm and 45mm (Ref. SBR)

3. When should I send my watch to benefit from the online Trade-In?

You must send the Trade-In request to our Customer Care Team within 14 days of your online purchase. After that, the Customer Care Team will provide you with instructions on how to ship back the watch you wish to trade in.

Once we confirm your watch is eligible and complete the Trade-In process, ownership is transferred to TAG Heuer. We cannot return any trade-in watch once the process has been completed.

 

4. Can I get my old watch back after benefiting from the Trade-In?

No. Once we receive your watch, verify its eligibility, and finalize the process, ownership is transferred to TAG Heuer. We are unable to return any trade-in watch after completion.

 

5. Can I trade in my Connected Watch for a mechanical watch or a gift card?

No, the Connected Watch Trade-In program allows you to benefit from a credit toward the purchase of a TAG Heuer Connected Watch model only.

 

6. Can I return a new TAG Heuer Connected purchased through the Trade-In program?

Participation in the program does not affect your right to return your new TAG Heuer Connected in accordance with TAG Heuer’s applicable return policies.

However, if you return the new Connected Watch obtained through the Trade-In program, your old watch cannot be returned.

 

7. How should I pack my watch before sending it for Trade-In?

Detailed instructions will be shared with your prepaid shipping label. Electronic devices containing batteries must be packed in compliance with applicable regulations.

 

8. How much time will it take to complete the online Trade-In process?

Once eligibility is confirmed, the process will take approximately 15 days to finalize and issue the reimbursement after the return period has ended.

 

9. Should I return accessories such as chargers, cables, or additional straps?

Accessories do not provide additional credit. If sent, they will be dismantled in an environmentally responsible manner.

 

10. My old Connected Watch is not working anymore. Can I still benefit from the Trade-In?

Yes. Non-working watches are eligible and will be recycled responsibly.

 

11. Is there any cumulative offer?

No, the offer cannot be combined by returning more than one watch for a single purchase. Each watch provides separate credit.

 

12. Are distant payments accepted in stores?

No, distance selling is not permitted in TAG Heuer boutiques for Trade-In. For remote purchases, please use the official website where available or contact Customer Care Team.

 

13. Can I benefit from the Trade-In program using a financing payment method?

No, financing payment methods are not available with the Trade-In program.
